Jacksons wood shavings are produced directly from their in-house manufacturing processes at their two facilities in the UK. Their shavings are made exclusively from high quality, kiln-dried, untreated softwood. Each bale weighs on average between 18-22kg. While their shavings are not strictly dust-extracted, they contain minimal dust due to their advanced cutting techniques. Unlike conventional methods, their cutting machines minimise dust generation, with any residual dust collected separately in bags. This approach provides a cleaner, premium shavings product. Wood shavings commonly used for horse bedding and poultry farms. Shavings are created from Jacksons in-house production of timber fencing from fresh high quality softwood. The bales of shavings contain only kiln-dried untreated softwood.
